How do I make a reservation?

A $1000.00 deposit is required in order to reserve the accommodation of your choice.

What is the rental agreement?

No lease is required. Rentals are on a month to month basis.
Do you require last month's rent? Upon move-in, an amount equal to the current amount rent is required as a deposit for "Last Month's Rent".
When is my rent due? All rents are due on the first day of each month.
What does my rent include? All amenities, including three meals a day, daily maid service, general repairs and maintenance, all activities, including transportation.
Can I bring my own furniture? All accommodations are fully furnished.  However, residents may bring all or part of their own furnishings.
Do you provide parking? If you own and drive a vehicle, parking in our secured underground parking garage is provided.
Where do I keep extra cash and valuables? Safe deposit boxes are available for valuables.
What type of heating and air-conditioning system do you have? We have a centrally controlled heating and air-conditioning system with filtered ventilation throughout the building.
When is the dining room open? Breakfast is served between 7:45 am and 10:00 pm, Lunch is served at 11:45 and 1:00 , and Dinner is served at 5:00 pm and 6:15 pm. 
Do I have reserved seating in the dining room? Seating is arranged for lunch and dinner. There are no assigned tables for breakfast.
Are special diets  provided? No salt is used in the preparation of our meals.  A number of dietetic products are available.
May I invite guests for meals? Family and friends are always welcome to dine with our residents.  There are guest meal charges which can be paid in cash or billed to the resident.
Do you have a snack bar? Our complementary snack bar is located in the Clubhouse and service is available daily between 2:30pm and 4:00pm.
Is cooking permitted in the rooms? Cooking is not permitted. Our dining room provides three well- balanced meals daily.  Some residents provide their own Microwave oven for heating only.
Do you have laundry facilities? Coin operated washers and dryers are located on every floor.
Is any transportation provided? We have a 30 passenger bus and provide round -trip transportation for medical appointments. Trips are also planned weekly for shopping, recreation and entertainment.
Do you have a beauty shop? We have a full service beauty salon providing a variety of services for men and women.
Do you have a patio area? We have a beautiful patio garden with comfortable furniture for relaxing, reading and visiting.  Summer BBQ's are also featured on the patio.
Do you allow pets? Visitors can bring their pets, but no pets can reside with  residents.
What help is available in case of a medical emergency? Our trained front desk personnel respond to emergencies by calling local paramedics and notifying the family immediately.  The U.C.L.A. Medical Center emergency room is three blocks from Westwood Horizons.
Do you have intercoms in each room? No. However, after you have contacted the telephone company and your personal telephone service is activated, we program the telephone instrument we supply for one-number dialing to the front desk, room service and 911 emergency number. If you choose to bring your own telephone, our personnel will program it as well.
